(More customer reviews)I chose the Vista stroller because I thought it would be great as both a double and a single stroller.I loved that when my son wasn't using it, it wasn't a huge side-by-side double stroller when I only had my newborn.My 3-yo is around 31.5 pounds, so below the 35 pound weight limit.However, with him in the rumble seat it is very difficult to push the stroller.I have to use two hands and quite a bit of strength to control the stroller.I've gotten to the point where I dread using it as a double stroller, it's just much easier to have my toddler walk at my side.Had I known all of this, I probably would not have chosen this stroller.
I think if your older child is much lighter than 30 lbs. you'd be fine using the rumble seat.However, I don't know what the appropriate weight would be.
That said, I do love the stroller as a single!!
